SAGLEV Electromobility Nigeria Limited has received high praise from the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) for launching the first fully electric vehicle (EV) assembly plant in sub-Saharan Africa, located in Imota, Ikorodu, Lagos.

SAGLEV chose to prioritize setting up after-sales service, customer support, and parts supply chain warranty long before the completion of its assembly plant. EV Drivers’ peace of mind is paramount!

During a familiarization tour, NADDC commended SAGLEV for meeting international standards and for its capacity to assemble various categories of EVs — including buses. The visit is part of a national campaign to spotlight local auto manufacturers and promote Nigeria’s “Nigeria First” policy, encouraging citizens to choose locally assembled vehicles over imports.
