NADDC Lauds SAGLEV for Pioneering Electric Vehicle Manufacturing in Nigeria — Saglev news hero

SAGLEV Electromobility Nigeria Limited has received high praise from the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) for launching the first fully electric vehicle (EV) assembly plant in sub-Saharan Africa, located in Imota, Ikorodu, Lagos.

SAGLEV chose to prioritize setting up after-sales service, customer support, and parts supply chain warranty long before the completion of its assembly plant. EV Drivers’ peace of mind is paramount!

During a familiarization tour, NADDC commended SAGLEV for meeting international standards and for its capacity to assemble various categories of EVs — including buses. The visit is part of a national campaign to spotlight local auto manufacturers and promote Nigeria’s “Nigeria First” policy, encouraging citizens to choose locally assembled vehicles over imports.

This isn’t just about vehicles. It’s about building a greener, self-sufficient future for Nigeria — powered by local talent, supported by visionary leadership, and driven by purpose.
