Dr. Sam Olugbenga Faleye

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Sam Olugbenga Faleye is the visionary founder and CEO of SAGLEV Electromobility. A distinguished engineer and business leader with over two decades of experience in the African automotive sector, he has dedicated his career to advancing sustainable transportation across the continent. Under his leadership, SAGLEV has become a pioneer in electric vehicle manufacturing, assembly, and infrastructure development throughout West Africa.

Prior to founding SAGLEV, Dr. Faleye held senior engineering and executive positions with global automotive OEMs, where he led vehicle development programs, manufacturing excellence initiatives, and market entry strategies for emerging markets. He holds a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in electric powertrain systems and is a frequent speaker at international electromobility conferences, African Union summits on climate action, and private-sector investment forums.

A passionate advocate for local content development and industrialization in Nigeria, Dr. Faleye has championed skills transfer programs, engineering apprenticeships, and partnerships with Nigerian universities to build the next generation of automotive talent. Under his direction, SAGLEV has established OEM agreements with Dongfeng, Shanghai Launch, and BAIC-FOTON, cementing the company's position as the bridge between global EV technology and African mobility needs.
