Sam Faleye is the Chairman & C.E.O. of SAGLEV INC, founder of the Delaware, U.S.A. Incorporated Electric Vehicle Company focused on accelerating the conversion of Fossil Fuel Vehicles to Zero-Emission Vehicles in emerging markets by partnering with rideshare and fleet operators. SAGLEV INC is now assembling EVs at our Imota, Ikorodu, Lagos Assembly plant, the first automotive assembly plant in sub-saharan Africa to solely assemble only Electric Vehicles.
Sam believes the African diaspora is a fundamental part of growing African economies and must positively impact their continent of birth or naturalization with their acquired professional training, knowledge, and experience.
Sam is a lifelong believer in climate change and the promise of renewable energy resources in solving the Earth’s climate calamities as a human responsibility and entrepreneurial opportunity.
Dr. Faleye has successful business ventures in real estate and securities trading in the U.S.A.
In addition to being a Board Certified Internist in Private Practice since 1998, he has a significant interest in Clinical Informatics. He is currently a Ph.D. Scholar at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, Tennessee, where he is completing a Dissertation on the Influence of Healthcare Information Technology on Physician Burnout.
Sam Faleye holds an M.D. from The University of Ilorin, Nigeria and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Howard University Hospital, Washington,DC. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and was elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians in 2005.
Sam is married to Dr. Adeola Faleye, an Orthodontist; they have three grown children together.
He is a Private Pilot with a significant interest in aviation and travel.
Femi Adeyemo – Non-Executive Director
Femi Adeyemo is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Arnergy, a Bill Gates-affiliated venture-backed distributed utility that provides energy reliability to residential, commercial, and customers in emerging markets, starting with Nigeria. In addition to his role at Arnergy, Femi serves as a non-executive director of SAGLEV.
Prior to founding Arnergy, Femi held various roles in prominent firms such as Huawei, Telinno, Omantel, and Cornea Consulting. He managed large-scale projects, including the nationwide rollout of four mobile telecommunication access networks, where he served as the single point of contact for these endeavors. His professional journey also encompassed managing service operations projects for multinational telecom OEMs, including Ericsson, Huawei, and Nokia, across Africa, South America, and Middle East, from their inception to nationwide scale.
Femi’s remarkable achievements and contributions have garnered international recognition, with features on renowned media outlets such as CNN, BBC, Bloomberg New Energy Finance, Bloomberg New Economy Forum, Reuters, CNBC, CGTN, and others.
